Ten Reasons To Choose A Good Girl Over A Bad Girl

As much as men groan about nice guys finishing last, nice girls often have to take a back seat until a man is ready for marriage.  There is an old joke that goes Good girls say, "No;" bad girls ask, "When?"  A bad girl may serve as eye candy and her sex appeal may make your boys drool but most men know that a lady in the streets and a vixen in the bedroom makes for a thrilling relationship. Without further ado, here is my Top Ten Reasons To Choose A Good Girl Over A Bad Girl.

1.When she has you wrapped around her finger she chooses to empower you rather than overpower you.

2.You don't have to worry about leaving her alone with your mom.

3. She makes your guy friends jealous. Not because of her physical qualities but because of her nurturing qualities.

4. She knows how to sit on a pedestal. You can spoil her without fear of her becoming an entitlement brat.

5. She is willing to make sacrifices for you without expecting anything in return.

6. She shares her body with you, she doesn't reward you with her body.

7. She knows how to be a sultry vixen without tarnishing her classiness.

8. She doesn't settle for just being a friend with benefits.

9. She doesn't settle for just being a girlfriend.

10. She reads a list like this to see how she can be a better mate.

Don't Cheat, Buy Local

When you buy local, statistics show that more money stays in your community.  More than that, the circulation speed of your dollar accelerates when it stays local. Think of it like this.  The big box national chains make larger profits than your local corner store. A local business owner has to put more money than the big guys back into their business.  Employee salaries, marketing, and inventory replenishment hit local businesses harder than the big guys.  This is where the circulation speed of your dollar comes into play.  Since local business owners have less of their money to sit on the cash flow pipeline maintains a steady flow.

The benefits of buying locally don't just stop with the increased velocity of money in the local economy.  One of the key benefits of buying locally is the community identity that is shaped.  Travel through any city and there are a half a dozen or so national chain businesses that you can expect to see.  Look at like this.  When you are on vacation is it not more appealing to seek out that great local eatery over the typical restaurant franchise?  Unique businesses help differentiate your city from neighboring cities. It gives your community an identity that is distinctive.

Buying locally is not always an option but thinking "local first" opens the doorway for increased benefits to our communities.

Free Websites for Georgia Businesses

97% of consumers look online for local products and services but 54% of small businesses in Georgia do not have a web site or web presence. In this social media dominated era it is crazy for a business not to be actively engaged with current and potential customers online. So why do businesses fail to capitalize on the increasing levels of Internet consumption demanded by consumers? Mainly, small business owners wrongfully believe that getting online is complex and requires web coding experience. Further, there is a misconception that getting online is costly and time-consuming. Really getting your business online is simple, cheap, and easy.  The state of Georgia has developed a new partnership that makes it quite simple.

In February, Georgia Governor Natahan Deal, announced a partnership with Google that will bring free websites to small businesses throughout Georgia. This has become the "Georgia Get Your Business Online" campaign. Google is bringing along with them another partner in Intuit who is providing access to its popular Intuit Websites Free for a full year. After your initial year you will need to open up your wallet but that cost is a low as $7.99 a month.

How To Ace An Interview

Penmanship counts

Make sure your application is legible and error free. Your resume should be error free as well.

Interviewing from the start

Dress professionally when you pickup and drop-off your application.

Dress for success

Call the receptionist prior to your interview and see what their dress code is and dress one level above that. Tattoos should be covered and excessive piercings should be removed. Men should remove all piercings. Never wear jeans or sneakers to an interview even if that is what your uniform might end up being. At the very least men should wear khakis with a buttdown or polo style shirt tucked in. A man's pants should not sag and thy should have a belt. Women should avoid open-toe style, stiletto or very high heels, and loud prints. Flip flops, mules, or clogs are also a no go. Stay with neutral makeup and nail polish. Stay away from see through and sparkle or sequined clothing. Wear simple jewelry. No bling bling or large hoops, bangles, or charm bracelets.

Go into interview mode as soon as you step out your door.

That guy you flip off in traffic might just be an interviewer. The woman you cutoff and take a parking spot from just might be an interviewer. That woman watching you rock out with your radio at full blast to the latest Lil Wayne song might just be an interviewer. That guy listening to your talk on your cell phone might just be an interviewer.

Be early

About 10 minutes early is what you are looking for.

Don't be a jerk

That security guy checking you in and that receptionist you confirm your presence with might just be asked what they think about you. You never know so treat everyone with respect.

Don't sit down until told

It signals that you are open to direction.

Be enthusiastic

Don't just answer questions be prepared to offer stories that illustrate your strengths.
Let the interviewers see how excited you are about the job prospect.

Maintain eye contact but don't stare

Failure to maintain eye contact may communicate weakness. Failing to maintain eye contact long enough can also communicate shiftiness.

KISS

Keep it simple stupid by answering questions succinctly and to the point. Do refrain from answering with just yes or no.

Be engaged

Nod your head and show that you are actively listening.

Ask for clarity

If a question stumps you or you simply don't understand what answer the question merits, Ask for it to be repeated or clarified.

Have an elevator pitch ready

Be prepared to offer a 30 second pitch about yourself.

Don’t flame old employers

If you will talk poorly about your old employers then what will you say about them? Stay positive when asked about previous employers.

Do you homework

Nothing says dummy like asking a question that you could have easily found out by checking the company website or searching for the answer on Google.

Bring your notebook

Prior to the interview mark down discussion points that you want to highlight during your interview.
Also, note three questions to ask about the position or company. Ask permissions to take notes during the interview. They are doing it so why shouldn’t you.

See Where you stand

Don't be afraid to ask where do you stand compared to their ideal candidate. Also ask how you compare with other applicants they have interviewed. Their answer to this question will give you a good feel for how you did in the interview.

Ask for the job

If the interview goes well let the interviewer know that you are excited about the possibility of working with them.
