Free Websites for Georgia Businesses

97% of consumers look online for local products and services but 54% of small businesses in Georgia do not have a web site or web presence. In this social media dominated era it is crazy for a business not to be actively engaged with current and potential customers online. So why do businesses fail to capitalize on the increasing levels of Internet consumption demanded by consumers? Mainly, small business owners wrongfully believe that getting online is complex and requires web coding experience. Further, there is a misconception that getting online is costly and time-consuming. Really getting your business online is simple, cheap, and easy.  The state of Georgia has developed a new partnership that makes it quite simple.

In February, Georgia Governor Natahan Deal, announced a partnership with Google that will bring free websites to small businesses throughout Georgia. This has become the "Georgia Get Your Business Online" campaign. Google is bringing along with them another partner in Intuit who is providing access to its popular Intuit Websites Free for a full year. After your initial year you will need to open up your wallet but that cost is a low as $7.99 a month.
